I have a BA in New Media from the University of Leeds, which has given me a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and Adobe Photoshop as well as an elemental understanding of Adobe Flash and Adobe Coldfusion. From the course I also gained knowledge of website usability and accessbility.

I am also self-taught in PHP and am currently learning Javascript. I've used these languages to make a variety of things from unique blog themes through to custom content management systems. Please see the web section for more details of these.

Photography

I started doing performance photography in 2003 and have taken photos of a variety of performers from musicians to magicians. Having had no formal training, I've gained my skills through a combination of teaching myself and practise.

I've had photos published in several places with the most notable being the cover and CD of the comedian Tim Minchin's 'Ready For This?' album. I've also had photos in a few magazines, such as MagicSeen, issue 24, and the Tiger Airways in-flight magazine, Mar-Apr 09 as well as alongside reviews for Minchin by Variety and Theatermania.
